Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

COMMAND PERFORMANCE

Put the plumbing and the electrical
on the outside.
Wrap the fortune around the cookie.
Loose the canaries.
Cancel the cancellation.
Unfurl each finger
from the fist.
Don’t use the conversation
as camouflage
for what you’re not saying.
See what happens
when there’s nothing left
pacing
in the wings.
