Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

TIME OUT

There's a child
behind its

bedroom door.
They've locked

themselves in.
On purpose.

They've had
enough.

They're giving
themselves

their own
time out

from the parent
knocking

at their door.
"I'm not

coming out.
You can't

make me.
I'll come out

when I'm ready"
Do you know

this child?
Which side

of the door
are you on?

Who are you
standing with?
