THE OTHER SIDE AT DUSK

 

The rim of the car wheel,

the grate in the garage door,

 

the burgundy leaves ablaze

on the winter branches.

 

These are what I see

most immediately.

 

Details at dusk.

Beyond what’s visible,

 

what the eye

cannot unveil,

 

there is even

more to discern.
