Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

THE QUESTIONS

Grey branches
are a lattice against
an overcast sky.

Green leaves
spin like pin-wheels
with every gust of wind.

Crow unseen
caws her dark question
into every corner of the day

not expecting answers
but more of her kind to come unseen
with even darker questions.
