Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

WHEN ONE THING FALLS...

Somewhere
there's

a broken
blossom

on the ground
No one knows

how it
got there

No one
ever will

But because
it fell

the world
fell apart

and with it
went a child

The young one
became a castaway

Even now
all these years

later
the child

is still trying
to find

its way
back home

When it does
it will be

carrying
the broken blossom

in it's ripened
blooming heart
