Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

BRIDGE

a calculus drapes the night
with it numbers,
but what we see is light -
a scattering across the sky
that dances
like fish over water,
like the wind
hanging its music out to dry -
which is our imagination,
another algorithm of desire.

THE FUTURE

When I think of the future
I taste apples.
