Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, had a hammer named Mjölnir. Mjölnir was considered a fierce weapon that could level mountains and summon lightning with every blow. In this poetry blog, every Thursday, (Thor’s Day), Mjölnir will forge only song - sing of the mysteries and beauties of the world.

FAITH INTO LOVE

Watch what happens to white
when you bend it
like a wishbone.
Watch it crack open
like the binding of a big book.
Watch how the pages flutter
and then send out a light
like wings that carry
both bone and book
toward the rising of the sun.
